Compact transmission line design using a single 12 inch neo driver. It has a forward vent which caters for the lower reflex response and also the termination for the higher quarter wave resonance so that the cone is controlled over a wide frequency range.

The long awaited larger version of CTL10. It is bigger, slightly heavier (7.9 ro 9.5 kgs depending on driver choice) and only 400mm deep, 340mm wide and 380mm high. With a premium driver, it will take 450 watts, 97 dB(A) or more per Watt sensitivity and has a strong low end from well below 40 Hz, suiting 5 string bass players and for outdoor use. 8 ohms.

This bass guitar speaker will hang with a loud drummer no problem and very suitable for most gigs. If you want a larger room you will probably use the PA as well! The speaker is a passive design and suitable for up to 500 watts power handling depending on your choice of driver. The design is capable of controlling speaker movements down to a low B on a 5 string with low distortion. It includes a tweeter for an extended response. Very easy to build using two sheets of 9mm plywood which offers stiffness and low weight. The folded interior is not difficult to construct and offers additional bracing to all the sides. We finished ours in a 5D carbon Wrap with silver metal corners and hexagonal metal grille for toughness but the custom finish is your choice!
